Politics:
Aba South First: Character, Capacity and Service
Money comes and goes, campaign posters eventually fade, and political seasons do not last forever. Party flags will be removed, campaigns will end, and political differences may change with time. What remains, however, is character, integrity, competence, and a genuine commitment to the welfare of the people. We are brothers and sisters before politics placed us in different parties, and regardless of our political affiliations, the progress and unity of Aba South should always remain our shared priority.
As we approach the 2027 House of Assembly election for Aba South State Constituency, I, Hon. Chinedu Akpulonu of the APC is presenting a vision focused on purposeful representation, development, and greater opportunities for the people. His agenda centres on using legislative representation to attract meaningful government interventions, create opportunities for young people and women, encourage agriculture and entrepreneurship, and ensure that the needs and concerns of Aba South receive proper attention wherever decisions affecting our communities are made.
Umunne m, Ndi Ngwa, our brothers and sisters from Imo, Anambra, Enugu, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Rivers, Ebonyi, and other communities and town unions; our traditional rulers, prime ministers, chiefs, village heads, religious leaders, churches, community groups, market leaders, traders, men, women, and fellow youths residing in Aba South, let us remember that political parties are simply vehicles, while our people are the destination. Long after the campaigns are over and the posters have disappeared, Aba South will remain our home, our heritage, and our collective responsibility. This is why our discussion should focus on character, capacity, vision, and the ability to deliver measurable results for our constituency.
The 2027 election is an opportunity for all of us to engage meaningfully, identify the challenges affecting our communities, discuss possible solutions, and make informed decisions about our collective future. I believe strongly in the people of Aba South, and I am confident that through constructive engagement and your support, we can make choices that will bring positive change to our constituency and create a better future for the generations yet to come. My name is Chinedu Akpulonu, APC Candidate for Aba South State Constituency, Abia State House of Assembly.
