378 and Counting — Bende Beneficiaries of Federal Appointments and Opportunities

Just In:
378 and Counting: Bende Beneficiaries of Federal Opportunities

I have been going through some records and came across the number of Bende sons and daughters who, according to the information I have seen, have received Federal appointments and opportunities through Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu since 2019. So far, I have counted 378 people, and I am not even done with the list yet. Honestly, that number alone is enough to make one pause and ask how such a figure was achieved.

The scale of the opportunities attributed to this effort is certainly worth a closer look. The way representation has been used to connect constituents with opportunities at the Federal level could easily be the subject of an entire book. It would be interesting to document the process, the engagements involved, and the efforts made to pursue opportunities for people from Bende. After all, 378 is already a significant number, and the counting is still ongoing.

For now, let me get back to the records because there appears to be much more to uncover. Whatever the final figure turns out to be, the number already counted is certainly something many people will want to pay attention to. Bende people, come and see what I am seeing—there is still plenty more to discover.
