The Traditional Rulers, Town Union Executive and the entire People of Bende Ancient Kingdom wish to express our profound gratitude to our illustrious Son, the Deputy Speaker of House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu PhD CFR LLD, UTABIRI Bende, Enyi Abia for the Rehabilitation of Bende Ozuitem Uzuakoli Electricity Line and connection to the National Grid through the LIGHT UP BENDE PROJECT Embarked Upon by his office.
Your Excellency Sir, you did not only reconnect Bende Ancient Kingdom to the National Grid but has given us options through the 1000KVA Solar Farm and the 100KVA Solar Mini Grid power station built by you, thereby ending our 23yrs of darkness. We are indeed grateful.
As you commission the project on Monday 19th January 2026 at Okputong Village square and MBA Ozuitem all in Bende LGA, we pray for God's continuing guidance and protection.
