Just In:
HAPPY 66TH INDEPENDENCE ANNIVERSARY, NIGERIA - Rep. Benjamin Okezie Kalu
I extend my warmest felicitations to all Nigerians, at home and in the diaspora, as we mark 66 years of our nation’s independence.
Today, we celebrate Nigeria’s journey, the resilience of her people and the enduring spirit that binds us together as one nation. At 66, Nigeria stands not at the end of a journey, but at the threshold of a greater promise.
As we look to the future, let us remain hopeful and committed to building a Nigeria defined by peace, unity, opportunity and prosperity for all.
With faith, perseverance and collective responsibility, we can build the Nigeria we desire. Our diversity is our strength, our resilience is our identity, and our shared love for Nigeria is our bond.
May this Independence anniversary rekindle our spirit of patriotism and inspire each of us to play our part in building a better Nigeria.

May the labour of our heroes past not be in vain.
And may God continue to bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
