2027: Group Storms Igbere, Pledges Support For Tinubu, Benjamin Kalu And OUK
The Bende Young Leaders Forum has pledged their full support to President Bola Tinubu, Deputy Speaker, Benjamin Kalu and Senator Orji Uzor Kalu in the forthcoming 2027 elections.
Speaking during an interactive session held in his Igbere country home,the Chairman of the group ,Hon Solomon Ogbureke commended the president and the two federal legislators for giving a good account of themselves in the past 3 years, pointing out that they had done enough to be returned at the polls in 2027.
The meeting attracted delegates from the 13 autonomous communities of Igbere,as well as the ward coordinators of the group from the 13 wards of Bende LGA.
In his own remarks,Hon Okey Iboko,a member of the Board of Trustees of the group,described Senator Orji Uzor Kalu as a great asset to Bende LGA whose experience is still needed at this time. He went on to commend the Deputy Speaker of the Federal House Of Representatives, Rt Hon Benjamin Kalu for his purposeful leadership and his special love for the people of Igbere which is evident by the strategic projects he has attracted to Igbere namely a 50 bed Hospital at Eluokwe (ongoing),an Ultra Modern Civic Centre at Ohumola (ongoing), a Palm Oil Mill at Agbor,a Rice Mill,a Solar Powered Borehole,ICT Centre, the Renovation of Uche Ebiri Hall and Rehabilitation of several schools in Igbere.
In their responses the delegates promised to do all in their power to ensure that the three APC flagbearers emerge victorious in the 2027 elections
