The people of Uburu community in Ihechiowa, Arochukwu Local Government Area, gathered to celebrate and honour Chief Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa for facilitating the installation of solar-powered street lights in their community. The warm reception reflected the community's deep appreciation for his commitment to bringing meaningful development that has improved the daily lives of residents.
Community leaders praised Chief Ukwa for his remarkable contribution, noting that the solar street light project has strengthened security, stimulated economic activities, and illuminated public areas for the benefit of everyone. They described the intervention as a significant milestone that demonstrates his dedication to the welfare and progress of the people.
During a colourful ceremony rooted in Igbo cultural heritage, the traditional rulers of Uburu offered royal prayers and customary blessings upon Chief Ukwa. They prayed for divine wisdom, protection, strength, and greater opportunities for him to continue serving humanity and driving development across the Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency. The royal fathers also pledged to mobilize widespread support for his 2027 National Assembly aspiration, expressing confidence in his ability to sustain his developmental strides for the constituency.
Responding to the honour, Chief Ikenna Ukwa expressed sincere gratitude for the recognition and reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the growth and advancement of every community within the constituency.
