Aba South Constituents Call for Better Representation, Urge Chinedu Akpulonu to Contest in 2027
Residents of Aba South State Constituency have expressed deep concern over what they describe as a prolonged lack of meaningful development across the various wards within the constituency. Many indigenes lament that despite electing a representative to champion their interests at the State House of Assembly, there has been little evidence of impactful projects or initiatives capable of improving the welfare of the people.
The growing dissatisfaction among constituents was further fueled by a statement allegedly made by the current representative, who reportedly disclosed that fellow lawmaker, Hon. Uchenna Erondu Erondu, often provides financial assistance and support whenever the need arises. According to concerned stakeholders, such remarks raise questions about the effectiveness and capacity of the current representative to independently attract development and adequately cater to the needs of the constituency.
As a result, many residents have called for an immediate political change ahead of the 2027 elections. They argue that the constituency deserves a more proactive and result-oriented leader who can effectively represent their interests, facilitate infrastructural development, and attract government presence to neglected communities within Aba South.
Consequently, a growing number of indigenes have unanimously appealed to their illustrious son, Hon. Chinedu Akpulonu, to offer himself for service and represent Aba South State Constituency in 2027. Supporters believe that his leadership qualities, commitment to community development, and vision for progress would bring the much-needed relief and transformation that the constituency has long desired. They maintain that the time has come for effective representation and renewed hope for the people of Aba South.
