Stakeholders from across Bende Federal Constituency have renewed their appeal to the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Okezie Kalu, popularly known as "Nwa Di Iche," to continue attracting meaningful development to the constituency. While expressing satisfaction with the projects and initiatives recorded during his tenure, they believe that greater investments in infrastructure, education, healthcare, youth empowerment, and economic opportunities will further improve the quality of life for the people of Bende.

Alongside their commendation, the stakeholders have also voiced concerns over what they describe as the concentration of major political offices in Igbere, particularly within the same ward. They note that the community currently occupies the offices of the serving Senator, the member representing Bende in the State House of Assembly, and the Deputy Chairman of Bende Local Government, while efforts are also being made to secure the House of Representatives seat. According to them, the situation has reignited discussions on the importance of fairness, equity, and inclusive political participation among all communities that make up Bende Local Government.

Despite these concerns, the stakeholders maintain that Benjamin Okezie Kalu has delivered tangible democratic dividends that have positively impacted the constituency. They acknowledge his contributions in attracting federal projects, supporting community development, empowering young people and women, and providing effective representation at the national level. They describe his leadership as one that has brought visibility and progress to Bende Federal Constituency.

Reaffirming their confidence in his leadership, many stakeholders insist that, "so far, so good," Bende Federal Constituency has benefited immensely from the representation of its illustrious son, Benjamin Okezie Kalu. They believe the developmental achievements recorded under his stewardship justify continued public support and argue that giving him another mandate in the 2027 elections would provide an opportunity to consolidate on the gains already made and deliver even greater democratic dividends to the people.
