Effective Leadership Must Be Measured by Facts and Evidence
Effective leadership is best judged by facts, evidence, and visible results. Hon. Dennis Roland, representing Isiala Ngwa State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, has at least delivered projects and initiatives that the people can point to as evidence of representation and service to the electorate.
Many residents of Aba South State Constituency have continued to express concern over the apparent lack of development despite occupying positions capable of attracting significant projects to the constituency. They argue that when such opportunities are not utilized to bring meaningful development to the people, it raises serious questions about the effectiveness of the representation.
As the rainy season intensifies, residents lament the persistent challenges of flooding, poor drainage systems, and deteriorating roads across many parts of Aba South. Several communities remain waterlogged, making movement difficult for residents. They note that there are no major completed road projects or visible ongoing projects that can be directly linked to the constituency's representation in the Abia State House of Assembly.

Consequently, many constituents are asking whether the position currently held is different from the one previously occupied by leaders such as Hon. Chinedum Orji and others who attracted notable projects to their areas. With growing dissatisfaction, many residents are now calling for a change in the 2027 Abia State House of Assembly election, hoping that a new representative will bring the dividends of democracy closer to the people and address the developmental needs of Aba South State Constituency.
