Lasting Empowerment Speaks Louder Than Social Media Noise
By: Aglow TV
While some people continue to dominate social media with debates and controversy over the so-called "N1 billion shenanigans," many beneficiaries of federal employment opportunities facilitated by the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, are already building meaningful careers. It is important to note that the names currently in circulation are from appointments made months ago and do not even include the latest beneficiaries. In reality, the published list represents only a portion of the opportunities that have already been secured.
Rather than chasing publicity or engaging in endless online arguments, many individuals have quietly received appointment letters, resumed duties in various federal establishments, and transformed the economic realities of their families. Alongside federal jobs, scholarships, employment initiatives, and human capital development programmes continue to provide sustainable empowerment. These are the kinds of interventions that create lasting impact long after political campaigns have ended.

Ironically, some of the loudest critics have unemployed relatives, neighbours, and young people within their own communities who could benefit from similar opportunities. Instead of demanding better performance from their own elected representatives or encouraging them to attract federal employment and development projects, they devote their energy to criticizing Hon. Benjamin Kalu. Political differences are healthy in a democracy, but they should never prevent people from acknowledging tangible results. Representatives who perform deserve recognition, while those who fall short should be held accountable by their constituents.
At the end of the day, endless social media debates cannot replace the value of a stable career or secure financial future. While some spend their time arguing online, others are receiving appointment letters, advancing their professions, and improving the lives of their families. Opportunities continue to exist—including the ongoing Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) recruitment—and those prepared to seize them stand to benefit. Lasting progress is achieved through meaningful opportunities and productive engagement, not through endless online distractions.
