Just In: Nigeria Steady, Not Failing: Augustine Counters Collapse Narrative

Onyeama Augustine has firmly dismissed claims that Nigeria is on the verge of collapse, insisting that such narratives are misleading and fail to reflect ongoing national progress.

Speaking as the coordinator of the Club 17 Peace Initiative, Aba South chapter during Easter celebration, Augustine argued that despite existing challenges, the country is making measurable strides, particularly in strengthening security and stabilizing the economy.

He maintained that recent efforts by stakeholders and authorities are gradually restoring confidence across different sectors.

According to Augustine, indicators of recovery are becoming increasingly visible, pointing to improvements in safety and economic activity as proof that Nigeria remains resilient.

He stressed that while no nation is without its difficulties, it is important to acknowledge forward movement rather than amplify pessimism.

In his view, sustained peace initiatives and coordinated development efforts will continue to reinforce national unity and ensure long-term stability.
