Nigerian Army Unveils First-Ever CSK Men Armoured Combat Vehicle Unit

The Nigerian Army has unveiled the pioneer crew of its Armoured Combat Support Vehicle unit, known as the CSK Men. These specially trained troops will operate the CSK-131 light armoured vehicle as their primary platform for strategic deployments across the North West.

The inaugural crew was presented during a graduation ceremony at the 8 Division Training School, where Major General Bemgba Paul Koughna presided over the passing-out parade of the 17 newly qualified crew members.

The EPAIL Nigeria produced CSK platform is based on the Chinese CSK-131 Dongfeng Mengshi light armoured vehicle.

It features integrated long-range communications for enhanced battlefield awareness, a remotely operated weapon station to improve crew protection, night vision cameras, and an onboard computer-based navigation system.
