Onyeama Augustine Urges Bende Voters to Reject Empty Promises, Back Continuity and Development
Onyeama Augustine has called on voters in Bende Federal Constituency to look beyond familiar campaign rhetoric and carefully consider the record, programmes and development priorities of candidates ahead of the 2027 elections.
He urged the electorate to reject what he described as repeated campaign promises that may not translate into tangible benefits, stressing the importance of supporting initiatives focused on infrastructure, education, employment opportunities and meaningful empowerment.
According to him, Bende needs representation that can sustain developmental projects, attract opportunities and remain connected to the needs of communities across the constituency. Benjamin Kalu currently represents Bende Federal Constituency and serves as Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Augustine therefore called on voters to consider continuity in areas such as infrastructural development, educational interventions, employment opportunities and empowerment programmes, while assessing candidates based on their documented records and stated plans.
He urged the people of Bende to participate actively in the democratic process and make their choice at the polls based on the issues and leadership priorities they consider important for the future of the constituency.
The APC has confirmed Benjamin Kalu as its candidate for Bende Federal Constituency in the 2027 general election, following his emergence unopposed at the party's primary process across the constituency's wards.
