The Chairman of the Club 17 Peace Initiative, Aba South Local Government Area Chapter, Onyeama Augustine, has called on Nigerian youths to take full advantage of the countless legitimate opportunities available on the internet to achieve financial independence and career success. He advised young people to stay away from cybercrime and other unlawful online activities, urging them instead to develop productive digital skills that can provide lasting economic benefits.

According to Onyeama Augustine, the rapidly expanding digital economy has created numerous avenues through which youths can earn a decent living. He noted that fields such as freelancing, software development, digital marketing, content creation, graphic design, e-commerce, and other technology-driven careers offer genuine opportunities for growth. He encouraged young Nigerians to invest in acquiring these skills, stressing that doing so would not only improve their personal lives but also contribute meaningfully to the country's economic development.

He further warned that involvement in cybercrime carries serious consequences, including legal sanctions, damaged reputations, and the erosion of Nigeria's image in the international community. Augustine emphasized that embracing honesty, integrity, and lawful means of earning income builds credibility, enhances personal development, and opens doors to greater opportunities both within Nigeria and abroad.

The Club 17 Peace Initiative Aba South LGA Chapter Chairman therefore urged youths to remain focused, disciplined, and determined in pursuing legitimate online businesses and digital careers. He expressed confidence that by embracing innovation, entrepreneurship, and the responsible use of technology, young Nigerians would become financially empowered, inspire others through their achievements, and make significant contributions to national growth and sustainable development.
