Today, I joined members of our great party the All Progressives Congress (APC) in my Bende ward, in Bende LGA, Abia State, as we conducted a peaceful and successful congress. Before the commencement of the congresses in Umuahia, I formally welcomed the officials of the Congress Committee as I reiterated the importance of unity, discipline, and respect for party supremacy.
I also addressed our stakeholders on the need for peaceful consultation and a harmonized ward congress that reflects the collective will of our members.I emphasised that no individual is bigger than the party and the decision of the NEC and the Caucus remains binding, and I appreciate our National Chairman, Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, and the National Working Committee in ensuring that the directive was implemented. Our resolve is clear: to return the party to the people, give every stakeholder a sense of belonging, and strengthen our structures from the ward level upward.
I also commend the 7-man Local Organising Committee, ably led by Chief Marc Wabara, and the Congress Committee Chairman, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Go’ar, for their firm commitment to conducting a credible, transparent, and peaceful exercise. My congratulations to the newly elected executives of my ward and other wards across the state.
I am confident in our collective ability to work tirelessly for the continuation of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The message remains consistent: Abia APC belongs to all of us. Through dialogue, reconciliation, and harmonization, we will continue to build a stronger, more united party poised for greater success.
