“We Will Set Up Reconciliatory Committee” — Benjamin Kalu
Benjamin Kalu has announced plans to establish a reconciliatory committee aimed at reaching out to aggrieved members of the party, stressing that unity and inclusion remain central to its strength.
“We will set up a reconciliatory committee to reach out to all aggrieved members of our party because everyone is important,” Kalu said.
The Deputy Speaker made the statement while addressing party stakeholders, where he emphasized the need to heal internal divisions and strengthen cohesion ahead of future political engagements.
He noted that no political organisation can thrive when key members feel excluded or sidelined, adding that reconciliation remains essential for stability and progress.
According to him, the committee will serve as a bridge-building mechanism to engage dissatisfied members and encourage dialogue within the party structure.
Kalu stressed that the party’s long-term success depends on collective participation, mutual respect, and willingness to resolve disagreements internally.
He further reiterated that inclusiveness is not just a political strategy but a necessary foundation for democratic growth and effective governance.
The Deputy Speaker reaffirmed that “everyone is important,” insisting that the party must work together to achieve shared goals and maintain unity going forward.
