JUST IN: Zenith Bank Hits ₦1 Trillion Profit Mark Again, Maintains Industry Lead

Zenith Bank has continued its strong financial performance, reaffirming its dominance in the Nigerian banking sector after reporting another ₦1 trillion+ profit milestone across recent financial periods, according to its latest results.

The bank’s performance shows sustained growth driven by strong interest income, increased customer lending, and expanded earnings from digital and foreign exchange operations.

In its most recent financial disclosures, Zenith Bank recorded significant growth in gross earnings and profitability, with profits continuing to place it among the top-performing financial institutions in Nigeria and across Africa.

The lender also maintained strong leadership in the sector, ranking as one of Nigeria’s most profitable banks, with steady increases in both profit before tax and profit after tax across 2025 reporting periods.

Analysts say the bank’s performance reflects broader strength in Nigeria’s banking industry, which has benefited from high interest rates, FX gains, and growing digital banking adoption.
