Religion:
When Your Tears Speak
There are moments when words fail, strength becomes limited, and the heart can only respond through tears. Yet, Scripture reminds us that God sees beyond what people see. He understands the burdens we carry, the silent battles we fight, and the prayers we are sometimes unable to express.
In 2 Kings 22:19, God acknowledged King Josiah’s humility and responsive heart, saying: “Because your heart was responsive and you humbled yourself before the Lord…and because you tore your robes and wept in My presence, I have heard you, declares the Lord.” His tears were not ignored; God saw his heart and responded to his humility.
May every tear you have shed in the presence of God become a testimony. May the tears of pain speak of healing, the tears of waiting speak of answered prayers, and the tears of disappointment speak of a new beginning. May God remember every moment when you cried to Him in sincerity.
When people do not understand your silence, may God understand your heart. When you cannot explain what you are going through, may your tears become a language that heaven understands. May the Lord turn your mourning into joy and your sorrow into songs of thanksgiving.
May God give you the grace to remain humble and steadfast even when circumstances are difficult. May He strengthen your faith, renew your hope and remind you that your present situation does not have the final word over your life.
May your tears speak for you. May heaven hear your cry, remember your humility, and turn your seasons of weeping into seasons of testimony. Amen.
