WHO OWNS BENDE’S MANDATE? THE PEOPLE AND THE BALLOT BOX WILL PROVE IT!
By: Aglow TV
A document is circulating on social media as a “Social Contract of Prosperity,” reportedly signed by Labour Party supporters. Fine. But here is the question they cannot escape:
WHO GAVE THEM THE POWER TO SIGN AWAY THE MANDATE OF NDI BENDE?
Nobody!
A handful of party faithfuls cannot sit in a room, sign a piece of paper and declare that the entire people of Bende have surrendered their political choice. Bende is not a private estate. Its mandate is not party property. It belongs to the people!
You can organise rallies. You can print documents. You can gather supporters. You can sign contracts. You can make promises. But when the time comes, ONLY THE PEOPLE AT THE POLLING UNIT WILL DECIDE WHO REPRESENTS BENDE.
That is democracy.
The real social contract will not be signed with a pen at a political gathering. It will be written with the votes of Ndi Bende at the ballot box.
So, before anyone starts celebrating a so-called “contract,” Bende should ask the questions that matter:
What has your candidate done?
What can he realistically deliver?
Where is the roadmap?
What is the plan for jobs, roads, education, agriculture, youth empowerment and community development?
And most importantly:
WHY THROW AWAY WHAT IS WORKING WITHOUT FIRST ASKING WHETHER IT CAN BE IMPROVED AND COMPLETED?

Political competition is healthy. But Bende must never become an experimental ground for personal political ambition.
NO CANDIDATE OWNS BENDE.
NO PARTY OWNS BENDE.
NO GROUP OF SUPPORTERS OWNS BENDE.
THE PEOPLE OWN BENDE!
That is why the case for Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu should be judged by performance, experience and what has actually been achieved.
The questions are simple:
What has been delivered?
What is ongoing?
What remains to be completed?
What can be improved?
Who has the experience and capacity to take Bende further?
If continuity means protecting what is working, completing unfinished projects, building on existing gains and demanding even more from our representative, then continuity deserves serious consideration.
Bende does not need political drama.
Bende needs results.
Bende does not need signatures pretending to speak for millions.
Bende needs the freedom to choose.
Bende does not need a political contract imposed by a gathering.
Bende needs a genuine mandate from the ballot box.
Chima Anyaso has the right to present his vision.
But Ndi Bende have the right to question it, examine it, compare it with the record before them and make their own decision.
And when 2027 comes, no social-media campaign, political gathering or signed document will vote.
Ndi Bende will vote.
The ballot box will speak.
And when the people speak, their mandate will belong to them—not to any political gathering.
BENDE’S MANDATE IS NOT FOR SALE.
BENDE’S FUTURE IS NOT PRE-SIGNED.
THE PEOPLE WILL DECIDE.
CONTINUITY 2027 — LET BENDE MOVE FORWARD, NOT BACKWARD!
